the year before the cot was nascars prime they got to caught up in money instead of good racing. danica haha! I was a nascar fan my whole life but love sprint cars and road racing alike. now that im maturing out of myignorance im really hoping on open kicks it into over drive. Nascar sucks. Motorsports NEEDS the Nascar to pull an ENRON or MCI scandal. They must be cooking the books. And No way a should bailout money go to Nascar. And Toyota lost all repectability when it went to Nascar. |

i've never seen them race in montreal or road america, and that's not enough, i think they should keep martinsville, talladega, and daytona. Scrap the rest and run more road races. And road racing is huge in Europe, the only reason it's not bigger here is because it's hard to have stadium style seating when you're running on a road course. |

When was the last time you saw any of those you listed on TV? How hard do those sanctioning bodies work on promoting those series you mentioned? No really. The reason 'stock car' racing is called stock car is because once those 'stock cars' were very close to being stock. The technology they used on the track made its way to the street. Today the australians and europeans have their version of true stock car racing. American auto manufacurers have to go overseas. To hell with F1, Indy, etc. |
