BMW FORMULA 1 VS BMW S 1000 RR MOTORCYCLE Nick Heidfeld BMW Sauber F1 Team and Troy Corser BMW Motorrad Superbike Rider Swap Vehicles at the Nürburgring The highlight of this year's one-day event at the Nürburgring for fans and partners of the BMW Sauber F1 Team was the vehicle swap between German Formula One driver Nick Heidfeld and BMW Motorrad Superbike rider Troy Corser of Australia more than 700 hp on four wheels in exchange for a good 200 hp on two. Over 700 guests came to the Eifel in Germany to enjoy an exclusive ride through the gamut of BMW's racing activities.

KTMcaptain haha, I'd say since I have had a gsxr1000, and currently modding my STi. a good 30K into an sti will give you strait line acceleration of a liter bike. what STREET LEGAL vehicles do you know that can better 0-200mph in under 10 seconds? or, what STREET LEGAL vehicle do you know of that can beat 0-200mph in under 10 seconds running off what you get at regular fuel station 03/13/2010 - 12:54:23
banjorogers lets see it beat an f1 around a track then. there are plenty of cars that will beat the y2k. Any top fuel drag car will rape a y2k off the line. y2k is good for only one thing, straight out speed in a straight line. the land speed record is held by thrust ssc and can do 763 mile per hour. but it too would be shit in the corners. 89powerup The f1 is built based of bikes techs anyway..The f1 would be more of bike than a car..It sounds like a bike,based of the reviews I've read about it,it handles like one but,the downforce makes it better..That way you dont have to slow down on curves. 03/09/2010 - 22:22:33
89powerup Yeah they put a hell of alot of tech in the f1..I think if they did the same thing to bikes,f1 would lose..The bikes lack downforce..If they had that,it would be the f1..Most of the videos I see between the 2 machines is that,the bike cant seem to hold both wheels on the ground..Wind tends to pick it up..I'm not saying the f1 is slow or anything..Its hella fast. 03/09/2010 - 22:14:35
